About

What if? What if? What if?

You can’t escape that question. It hounds you throughout the day. Every time you have a spare moment, you start worrying about what the next one will bring.

At night, you lie in bed pondering one ill-fated scenario after another – as the hours tick by tediously.

When the alarm clock starts jangling, the cycle starts all over.

But what do the “what ifs” matter?

The “what ifs” that could be are nothing compared to the dysfunction of “what is.”

Your continual state of agitation is slowly eroding all aspects of your life. Family, friends, colleagues – they all sense that something’s wrong, but they can’t really offer you any help.

You can’t concentrate on what’s right in front of you because you’re always worried about the terror right around the corner.

It’s even starting to affect your health. How much longer can you keep this up? And what if you can’t? Yet another “what if.”

What can you do?

When your anxiety and panic are at their peak, it can be challenging and quite overwhelming to figure out what to do to feel better.

Sometimes, reaching out to friends and family might make you feel worse. They mean well, but they don’t understand – and they can be judgmental without telling to do so.

And Googling and researching every symptom and solution ends with you tumbling down Alice’s rabbit hole.

But there is a way to break the cycle.

Once you begin therapy with me, I’ll give you direction and concrete skills to practice outside your sessions.

As we work together, you’ll learn how to quiet the pesky “what ifs” and move forward with your day.

I’ll show you techniques to help you stop panic in its tracks. When you feel a panic attack coming on, you’ll know what to do. You will be able to stop worrying about every little thing and focus more on what’s truly important to you.

I will help you with proven techniques such as deep breathing, mindfulness, movement, art, and grounding to help you overcome your anxiety – so you can focus on reaching your goals, free from constant worry.

It’s all about YOU.

Every therapy session might look different; it comes down to what works best for you.

A session could look like coloring a mandala or a picture of Batman while we talk about current challenges. Perhaps it could involve listening to your favorite song(s) and discussing how music can help you reduce your anxiety. Or we might start off with art, have a sprinkle of music, and end with some stretching.

Therapy is a secure, dedicated time to honor you and provide space to be completely yourself – free from judgment.

About Me

I’m a proud graduate of California State University, Long Beach, and San Diego State University. Go Beach and Aztecs!

I’ve lived in many cities from the Central Coast down to San Diego, and my dream is to travel to Europe and visit Italy and Spain, in particular.

During my free time, I love spending time with my husband, daughter, and son. I enjoy going to concerts, watching sports such as boxing and baseball, CrossFit, yoga, and trying out new local restaurants.

Our family goal is to visit every Major League Baseball ballpark in the United States. So far, we’ve seen 8 stadiums out of 30. The next stadiums on our list are Wrigley Field (Chicago Cubs), T- Mobile Park (Seattle Mariners), and American Family Field (Milwaukee Brewers).
